Remote Learning Versus Traditional Learning: Attitudes of University Students

The years 2020 and 2021 brought new challenges to teaching learning in the institutions of tertiary education due global COVID-19 Pandemic. They have been devastating for many teachers. Innumerable difficulties professional personal life increased stress - striving survive with least losses. Temporary measures remote teaching/learning spring extended until summer worldwide seem unlikely stop nearest future. New challenge novel online activities made teachers reconsider their philosophy an overall lack students engagement spite usual familiar procedures. current crisis outlines following framework philosophy: capability, reliability, inability, suitability, ingenuity, sustainability. This article aims at researching University attitudes traditional English Specific Purposes. A specially designed survey was administered 180 full-time (9 groups, 20 each group). Their responses were statistically processed by a means SPSS software compute Means Standard Variations compare estimates between-group within-group variances. Statistical processing multiple samples reveals whether observed differences occur random, i. e. are chance, or they significant, real meaningful. scientific analysis computation data might allow drawing conclusions about preferences: which mode is beneficial how much them supportive.
